Bucket elevators to transport building materials

As the market leader in the field of bucket elevators, we broke new ground in the high-performance bucket elevator sector. With our development of endless high-grade steel cables and corresponding bucket mountings, it became possible to construct high-performance belt bucket elevators for elevations of up to 200 m and conveying capacities of 2,000 m3/h and more.

Vertical transport of bulk material

Whether hot or cold: Our bucket elevators are the economical solution when it comes to vertical transport of bulk material. We have developed special technical designs for this type of conveying system for a number of decades now. Therefore, we can offer the perfect configuration for many different applications.

Both chain bucket elevators and belt bucket elevators have long since proved their qualities in thousands of hours of continuous operation, under the hardest and sometimes extreme conditions.

  • Special solutions for sticky materials
  • Corrosion resistent – completely or partly in stainless steel
  • Belt misalignment monitoring, electronically or mechanically
  • Speed monitoring
  • Boot casing level monitoring
  • Explosion-proof designs possible, e.g. in compliance with ATEX

Belt or chain bucket elevators?

Belt bucket elevators use is becoming increasingly common, because they offer many advantages compared to chain bucket elevators. Our steel wire belts, for example, allow considerably longer lifetime than chains.

Central chain bucket elevators are only used, when the material temperature of the bulk material to be transported permanently exceeds 130 °C. This means that only the permanent temperature of the bulk material decides whether a belt bucket elevator or a chain bucket elevator is required.
