You can enter personal data using a contact form on our website. If you use the contact form, we collect and save the data that you enter in the input mask (e.g. last name, first name, email address). A disclosure to third parties does not occur.

In the case of consent, the legal basis for processing is Article 6 (1) (a) GDPR.

We use the data exclusively for the registration for our BEUMER Group Live.

 

Newsletter

You can still subscribe to a newsletter on our website. If you subscribe to the newsletter, we collect and save the data that you enter in the input mask (e.g. last name, first name, email address). Subscribing to the newsletter is only possible with your consent. The legal basis for processing is Article 6 (1) (a) GDPR. We use the data exclusively for sending newsletters. We send the newsletter with the support of the service provider Marketo.

You can revoke your consent at any time by sending an email to [email protected]. In this case your data will be deleted immediately.

 

Use of video conference systems for webinars

The following data protection information relates to the use of the following video conference systems at BEUMER:

We would like to inform you below about the processing of personal data in connection with the use of the video conference systems.

 

Purpose of processing

We use video conference systems to carry out BEUMER Group Live. The video conference systems are technically made available by the respective provider. The regulations of the respective provider for use remain unaffected.

 

Responsible person

BEUMER Group GmbH & Co. KG is responsible for data processing that is directly related to the implementation of webinars.

 

Which data are processed?

Various types of data are processed when using the video conference system. The scope of the data also depends on the details of the data you provide before or when you participate in BEUMER Group Live.

The following personal data are processed:

User information: first name, last name, phone (optional), email address, company and department

Meeting metadata: subject, participant IP addresses, device / hardware information

Recordings: MP4 file of all video, audio and presentation recordings, text file of the online meeting chat.

When dialing in with the phone: information on the incoming and outgoing phone number, country name, start and end time. If necessary, further connection data such as the IP address of the device can be saved.

Text, audio and video data: You have the option of using the chat or question functions when participating in BEUMER Group Live. In this respect, the text entries you make are processed in order to display them in the event and, if necessary, to log them. In order to enable the display of video and the playback of audio, the data from the microphone of your device and any video camera on the device will be processed accordingly for the duration of the event. You can switch off or mute the camera or microphone yourself at any time.

In order to participate in BEUMER Group Live or to enter the “meeting room”, you must at least provide information about your name.

The other participants in BEUMER Group Live will not be given their personal data and they will not be able to see your personal data.

Automated decision-making within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR is not used.

 

Recipient / transfer of data

Personal data that are processed in connection with participation in BEUMER Group Live are generally not passed on to third parties outside the BEUMER Group, unless they are intended to be passed on.

 

Data processing outside the European Union

Some of the providers of video conference systems are based in the USA. Processing of personal data also takes place in a third country.

You have the right to information about your personal data. You can contact us at any time for information.

In the event of a request for information that is not made in writing, we ask for your understanding that we may require evidence from you that proves that you are the person you claim to be.

Furthermore, you have the right to correction or deletion or to restriction of processing, insofar as you are legally entitled to do so.

Finally, you have the right to object to processing within the framework of the legal requirements.

A right to data portability also exists within the framework of data protection regulations.

 

Deletion of data

We generally delete personal data if there is no need for further storage. If you do not consent to the further use of your data, we will delete your data shortly after the event (s) have taken place.

 

Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

You have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority about the processing of personal data by us.
