Display effect
Smooth, tightly stretched film surfaces ensure a good display effect and barcode readability – a far cry from creased, overlapping films. Our stretch hood series complements the outward appearance of the customer’s products by ensuring that palletised goods are ideally packaged with high-quality film using a careful process. To make a lasting impression, the tear- and impact- resistant wrinkle-free film packaging can also be individually printed with the customer’s brand.
Load stability, product and weather protection
Product safety during transport is a core aspect of all packaging systems. The BEUMER stretch hood® series ensures that packed goods are ideally prepared for transport from the producer to the end customer. This is taken care of by the perfect film fit, robust packaging material and stabilising biaxial stretching, as stable results guarantee that there will be no complications during transport.

The firm outer packaging ensures that the palletised goods are protected from third-party interference along the entire distribution chain.
Sustainability
All of our systems are configured to ensure a positive eco-balance – in other words, to keep energy and material consumption to a minimum. This means that the BEUMER stretch hooding uses no heat energy for the preparation and follow-up processing of the film. The film is applied in a single layer, and only in the precise amount and strength actually required – even when recyclable materials are used. The use of innovative technology keeps emission levels very low.
