The CrisBag system handles all baggage types on one track. From check-in to make-up, CrisBag transports both normal and out-of-gauge (OOG) baggage using the same intelligent tote system. Airports can offer passengers a seamless experience—regardless of their baggage size—while optimising operational flow behind the scenes.
Bags are placed directly into CrisBag totes, reducing the need for separate OOG manual handling lines. Reducing the need for manual handling and eliminating the complexity of managing a separate OOG system. Oversized bags travel on the same track, at the same speed, as standard baggage.
This streamlined approach also supports in-tote security screening for all bag sizes, ensuring full compliance without added infrastructure. And because the system eliminates traditional belt conveyors for OOG items, airports avoid common issues like jams and bottlenecks.
