As a Mechanical Project Designer, you will play a key role in planning, coordinating, and executing project tasks efficiently, while ensuring compliance with design standards, quality requirements, and project timelines.
Mechanical Project Designer
We are a global organization, but you will be working from our office in Aarhus and be part of Mechanical Integration, consisting of 12 highly skilled colleagues. Here, your responsibilities will be:
- Participating in project planning, scheduling, and coordination activities, as well as scope clarification, to ensure a clear understanding of project requirements.
- Creating detailed designs of the system layout and generate installation binder and layouts for costumer documentation, all in compliance with design rules and the machinery directive.
- Ensuring seamless interface checks between components (e.g., induction units, scanners, conveyors), integrate third-party systems into X-refs, perform 3D clash detection, and provide on-site installation support.
- Participating in the submittal process, creating layouts and drawing lists for review and approval, as well as maintain project data to ensure accurate project documentation.
Experienced Designer
You bring some professional experience from a similar role, and preferably you have some international experience or previous exposure to cross-cultural working environments. Furthermore, we imagine that you:
- Have an education as a Technical Designer, Machine Technician or similar.
- Solid experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Outlook), and 3D CAD Tools.
- Have full proficiency in Danish and English, written and spoken.
Moreover, you are an effective communicator, and you possess strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills, as you will be collaborating closely with multiple stakeholders. You work well under pressure, is a structured person, and you are adaptable and flexible when it comes to navigating changing project requirements and priorities.
