Job Description

Join our team as a Data Scientist (m/f/d) in Beckum or Dortmund and take on the following responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement data and AI-based solutions to support and enhance operational efficiency and profitability.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for leveraging data and AI to generate insights and solutions.
  • Design and implement data pipelines, architectures, and governance frameworks to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
  • Build, train, and maintain machine learning and deep learning models to support various business objectives.
  • Analyze data and provide actionable insights and recommendations to business stakeholders to inform decision-making.
  • Work closely with cross functional teams to collaborate on projects, share insights, and ensure that data analytics and AI efforts are integrated with overall business strategies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing data and AI-based solutions, preferably in a business context.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL. Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI).
  • Familiarity with data infrastructure and database systems, such as SQL databases (e.g., MS SQL Server) and big data platforms (e.g.,  Spark, Snowflake, Microsoft Synapse Analytics).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Understanding of data governance principles and best practices.
  • Strong attention to details and a commitment to data quality and accuracy.
  • You communicate effectively in both German and English.
