Job Description

At BEUMER Group, we offer innovative material handling solutions around the world. Among other industries, we service airports and parcel companies with sorting and distribution solutions that ensure that suitcases and parcels reach the right owners – again and again. This requires collecting and analyzing large amounts of data to ensure that our solutions can deliver time and time again.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as both Administrator and Developer within the team
  • Keep data pipeline running so we can continuously secure the necessary data
  • Resolve challenges with a data stream, you are there to develop a solution together with the team 
  • Monitor existing data pipelines and verify integrity of all collected data
  • Create new data pipelines all the way from the customer's network until data is analyzed and inserted into our data platform
  • Maintain infrastructure and update backend components to ensure a robust data platform
  • Participate in evaluation and implementation of new processes and tools for data collection
  • Set up cloud-based data solutions for our end customers and manage direct communication with these customers

Qualifications

Requirements / Skills / Abilities:

  • Degree in computer science, software developing, computer engineering or similar or experience with software administration, support, operation or similar
  • Passion for developing knowledge of data analysis – experience with data analysis is a plus
  • Knowledge of Windows and Linux and maintenance of DevOps environments preferred
  • Strong, independent decision-making ability. Self-starter and possess a strong work ethic with a self-imposed desire to exceed everyday expectations
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills along with demonstrable leadership capabilities
  • Able to travel as needed per business needs, estimated 20%
