FAM卸料车的主要功能是将物料从固定或可移动带式输送机上的任何位置卸载或分流到：

横向带式输送机，
堆料机的接收臂，
在排料输送机上方的堆料机接收臂，
或者直接倾卸。

因此，卸料车通常被称为转运车。
