CMMS Spare Parts Coordinator

The Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) / Spare Parts Coordinator is responsible for CMMS and spare parts for the baggage handling system at Toronto Pearson International Airport, including keeping records of spare parts inventory, spare part procurement, preventive maintenance schedule and tracking of work orders.

Responsibilities:

• Keep record of Spare Parts inventory via CMMS (MAXIMO).
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, both internal and external.
• Maintain stock at required levels as specified by original equipment manufacturers (OEM).
• Effectively record and analyze movement of parts and help with cycle counts.
• Source quality parts and negotiate best rates.
• Establish, maintain, and ensure application of CMMS procedures regarding maintenance and inventory control.
• Manage and troubleshoot faults with the CMMS.
• Ensure system, software and reports are accurate and provide sufficient information.
• Daily coordination with operational and maintenance staff regarding CMMS activities.
• Provide training to maintenance users of the CMMS.
• Maintain accurate record of parts under warranty and details of faulty parts.
• Design and create reports and other tools used in work order and inventory analysis graphs.
• Act as the interface between BEUMER and other airport stakeholders regarding maintenance, purchasing and inventory control.
• Carry out other assignments as requested by management or shift supervisors.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years working with CMMS and Spare Parts management.
• Able to obtain and maintain RAIC and AVOP permits for Pearson Airport access.
• Valid Ontario G licence; able to drive company truck for parts pickup/delivery.
• Valid forklift licence; able to safely operate material-handling equipment.
• Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to get along well with diverse personalities, while in a fast-paced dynamic environment
• Strong attention to detail, process development and organizational management
• Strategy insight and comprehension of BEUMER values
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• MS Office proficiency; Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook
• Strong Excel and Power BI skills for data analysis and reporting.
• Track and report monthly maintenance, inventory, parts, and work-order KPIs.
• SAP experience in inventory, purchasing, materials, or maintenance is preferred.
• Personable, professional, and energetic demeanor
• Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds

Work Environment:

• Operates in a fast-paced airport setting with exposure to noise, moving machinery, and variable temperatures.
• Requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Frequent walking, climbing, bending, heavy lifting, and standing across large terminal and baggage areas.
