Network Engineer

For our Global IT team, we are looking for a Network Engineer who enjoys working with complex network infrastructures and taking ownership of critical systems. What you will be doing
In this role, you will be responsible for the daily operation, development, and security of our network infrastructure. You will design, implement, and maintain LAN, WAN, and VPN solutions and ensure a high level of availability and performance across the organization. A key part of your work will be diagnosing and resolving network issues efficiently to minimize downtime and support business continuity.

You will manage and configure routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless solutions, while also carrying out regular maintenance, upgrades, and security updates. Network security is a central focus of the role, and you will implement firewalls, VPNs, access control policies, and conduct security audits and vulnerability assessments. Clear documentation of configurations, changes, and procedures is expected, as is close collaboration with IT colleagues and support for internal users and stakeholders.

Moreover, we imagine that you bring the following qualifications to the job:

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or a related field
• Several years of hands‑on experience in network engineering
• Familiarity with network virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
• A CCNA certification is required, while CCNP or other network and security certifications are considered a strong advantage
• Solid experience with Cisco networking equipment and enterprise firewalls such as Cisco, Check Point, or Palo Alto, as well as wireless technologies from Cisco or Aruba
• A strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols, VPN technologies, and network monitoring tools
