Reference: Connection of production facility with new distribution warehouse (paper industry)

To expand production capacity, a new distribution warehouse was built on the company site. The scope of supply was to connect this distribution warehouse with the existing production plant through a 300-metre long conveyor line consisting of pallet roller conveyors and a 22-metre high pallet lift with a capacity of 40 pallets per hour. The associated material flow control included a connection to the customer’s ERP system as well as a link to the fully automated warehouse. The special challenges of this project, apart from the conveyed load of 2.5 t, were the specific customer requirements regarding the drive system and the conveyor design as well as the short delivery period of 16 weeks.

Scope of supply:

  • Pallet transport system (300 m)

  • Material flow control including connection to ERP system
