IT System Administrator

Joining the BEUMER Group IT department You will become a part of a integrated team focused on best-in-class service and solution providing. As an IT System Administrator, You will oversee the daily hardware, software, and networking within the organization. This includes evaluating, installing, monitoring, and maintaining of mainly Windows based software, licenses, and servicing hardware in a global company.

We are searching for a motivated team member who will be involved in the configuration and maintenance of our local system landscape in a global environment. This engineer will have additional responsibilities associated with all aspects of IT security, administration and troubleshooting of diverse IT related issues.

In relation to this role, the following overall tasks are in scope:

• Installation, update, monitoring, and maintenance of Windows-based enterprise software.
• Supervision of the entire hardware and software base (Poland-wise).
• Day-to-day support in solving local IT-related problems (network, hardware, SW).
• Preparing and maintaining IT equipment and related software.
• Go-to person for office employees in resolving IT issues.
• License management.
• Hands-on Group standards and recommendations.
• Working with global IT ticketing system.
• Hardware and software troubleshooting.
• Oversee company network infrastructure, maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting.
• Providing security guidance to the employees, in line with company standards.
• Testing of new firmware, new configuration, applied updates.
• Documentation of changes and newly installed/implemented solutions.
• Keeping technically up to date.

If You are a motivated, open, and communicative person with at least basic experience in the area of system administration. You are open, willing to learn but also well organized, focused, and able to dig into particular tasks on your own. Furthermore, you have the bring the following qualifications:

• Basic experience in PC hardware maintenance, OS installation and as well as in IT system administration.
• Good level of English written and spoken (level B1 / B2).
• Open for working within international teams.
• Basic knowledge of IT network setup (LAN, WAN, VPN, network protocols).
• Hands-on with MS Windows operation system and entire MS Office package.
• Ability and good intuition for overall hardware and software troubleshooting.
• Ability to look beyond the standard context.
