Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Specialist, Parts Logistics to identify customer needs, recommend solutions, and ensure the timely and accurate ordering of parts. This role requires strong sales acumen, a customer-first mindset, and the ability to build lasting client relationships.

The position operates in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment where accuracy, responsiveness, and accountability are critical. The ideal candidate can effectively manage multiple priorities, communicate proactively with customers and internal stakeholders, and maintain a strong sense of urgency while delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring timely, accurate, and consistent communication
  • Generate parts proposals, purchase orders, and sales order confirmations with a high degree of accuracy under tight deadlines
  • Receive and process customer orders efficiently, ensuring no lapses in follow-up or correspondence
  • Execute urgent customer requests and resolve issues quickly in time-critical situations
  • Maintain strong customer relationships while managing high volumes of requests
  • Provide rapid and precise pricing and quotations
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to obtain accurate data quickly
  • Maintain accurate reporting and ensure data integrity
  • Participate in on-call rotations requiring after-hours responsiveness
  • Conduct customer/site visits while managing workload
  • Proactively escalate issues and communicate risks

Annual compensation: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 Annually

The posted salary range reflects the compensation the company reasonably expects to offer for this position. Actual compensation will not be less than the posted minimum and will be based on multiple factors.

Qualifications

Requirements/Skills and Abilities:

  • Degree AS/BS/BA in Engineering, Business or Communications OR Equivalent technical sales or customer support experience
  • 3-5 years inside sales or customer service experience
  • Proven ability to function in a high-demand, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work with minimal tolerance for errors and high responsiveness expectations
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn systems quickly
  • Professional and consistent customer-facing communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and follow-through
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Excellent organization and time management
  • Ability to manage high workloads while maintaining accuracy
  • Intermediate MS Excel; ERP experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal communication
  • Ability to work independently and remain accountable
  • Experience in material handling or technical equipment parts
  • Ability to read technical or electrical drawings
  • Forklift / PMHV Licenses or ability to obtain within 3 months of hiring
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time, as per business needs
  • Ability to work rotating weekends as per the on-call schedule
  • Ability to read technical and electrical drawings to identify parts needed by the customer
