Combining automatic monitoring with expert analysis
The service combines automatic monitoring of customers’ IT equipment and systems with expert analysis performed by BEUMER Group Hotline engineers.
Customers’ local servers are monitored daily to provide advance warning of potential system vulnerabilities caused by events such as low disk space or other server errors. The use of a certified BEUMER Group monitoring program and remote access over a secure and encrypted connection to a Virtual Private Network (VPN) enables direct monitoring of servers and daily reviews of developments in data trends.

When the collected data indicates a potential risk to the performance of a customer system, a detailed summary report is sent to the duty technical manager or sorting-system control room. The report will highlight identified issues, such as system limits or error repetition and include the recommended solution.
BEUMER Group Hotline Performance Monitoring enables customers to achieve higher availability and capacity from their sorting system and is compatible with BEUMER Group servers running MS Windows®. The service uses remote access over a secure and encrypted VPN connection which allows BEUMER Group Hotline engineers to access and analyse customer systems remotely and in real time.
Our hotline support functions
Our Hotline Support is located in Aarhus, Denmark and Beckum, Germany and manages more than 500 Hotline contracts. Its service includes more than 1,100 industrial products within the four core areas conveying and loading, palletising and packaging, sortation and distribution and resolves more than 5,000 cases every year. Furthermore it is always available 24 hours a day, every day of the year.
