Green Tire

The Green Tire Storage system provides the possibility of either short- or long-term production buffering of green tires between the tire building and the curing process. It may also serve as drying buffer for green tires with applied release agent fluids of a tire spraying system.

The heart of the storage system is the miniloader, which gives access to any tire, at any time and thereby always allowing the oldest tire of a given specification to be extracted from the storage using the First-In-First-Out (FIFO) principle as well as the extraction of specific tires in erroneous situation.

Each storage module consists of a mini-loader unit, conveyer transitions and a rack structure. The rack contains a flexible amount of storage positions usually between 500 and 1500 dependent on the available physical space and required throughput capacity. In order to reach the desired buffer capacity and at the same time minimizing the space consumption, multiple storage modules are combined.
