Onboarding @ BEUMER

The BEUMER Group has developed a targeted integration process to support our new employees in their initial onboarding phase through comprehensive training and intensive guidance. Within their first few days on the job, all new hires participate in the onboarding programme. The main objectives of the onboarding programme are to raise enthusiasm and successfully integrate new hires into the BEUMER Group family. The programme consists of 4 modules encompassing product training, IT training, company presentations and department-specific training.

Well-structured schedules with individual training courses aid our newcomers in becoming prepared for their role and familiarise them both with their teams and company structure at an early stage.

Training and education

Continuous education and professional development of our employees is our top priority. With that in mind, we challenge and assist our employees, offering external training courses and advanced education courses within our company. Our goal is to organise the personal development of every single employee according to their individual needs and responsibilities.

We offer our employees an innovative training platform which presents an easy-to-browse catalogue of the training and education opportunities available at BEUMER Group worldwide.

The online platform also allows to manage the entire process digitally — from defining the training needs of an employee up to booking a course and evaluating it afterwards.

Employee interviews and target agreements

The annual employee and feedback interviews focus on performance and development capabilities. The development measures agreed individually between superior and employee. They are a good basis for acquiring continuously additional qualifications in the professional, social or methodological competence.

For a successful and long-term implementation of our company strategies, we are carrying out an annual target agreement process with our world-wide management. On the basis of individual target agreement meetings, we ensure the implementation of the company strategy in all the BEUMER Group companies in the form of activities and measures.

Promotion of young talents

BEUMER Group devotes particular attention to the development of its own junior staff. An example is our international graduate programme which is implemented to prepare graduates for responsible functional or management positions in the company.
