The web presence under www.beumergroup.com contains (1) a company website with information and contact opportunities to the BEUMER Group and (2) a recruiting system of BEUMER Maschinenfabrik GmbH & Co. KG which can be accessed on www.beumergroup.com under the heading JOBS & CARRER. The following data protection information refers to the  use of the company website of the BEUMER Group only. Cookies are small text files that are stored locally on the end device (e.g. PC, Smartphone, Tablet-PC) of the visitor while connecting to a website. They may contain various information about the used end device and how you use the website. In case of a new connection to the Cookie-setting Webserver they will be transferred for the purpose of recognizing the user and the settings.

The IP-address and the information regarding the request of your internet browser is technically necessary for the use of the website; without processing these data it is impossible to access and to display webpages. The IP-address will be anonymized by shortening or erased when the necessity for the access or use of the website ceases.

The above mentioned data will be processed by us for the following purposes:

Information regarding transmitted data volume, browser type and browser version, display resolution and the used operation system are processed to optimize the display of the content, assess the utilization of the system and to optimize our websites if applicable on the basis of statistical analyses.

Basis for the processing is Art. 6 Subsection 1 littoral f GDPR. The legitimate interest for the processing is the technical facilitation of our web presence, the optimization of the content display for the user and the future optimization of our web presence.

3.2. Use of cookies by our server

a) Explanation and purpose:

Our websites use cookies set by our webserver. You will be shown a respective notice at least when you connect to our website for the first time.

The cookies used by our server serve partly as basis for the analysis of the utilization of our website with the help of analysis tools (refer in this regard to clauses 3,3-3.5), also to detect several connected requests of one user and to allocate these to one session.   Furthermore some websites contain a so-called session cookie, that is needed for the functionality of our website. Session cookies are deleted automatically after closing the session.

3.3. Google Analytics (web analysis)

a) Explanation and purpose:

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google"). Google Analytics uses cookies that are saved on your computer and enable us to analyze how you use our website. The information collected by the cookie contain e.g. browser type/version, used operation system, display resolution, referrer-URL (the website visited before), anonymized IP-address of your end device, time of the request, length of your visit on specific sites, downloaded data, etc. You can find further information about the cookies used by Google here.

The information generated by the cookie regarding your usage is submitted to a Google server in the United States, where it is saved. Google has submitted to the privacy shield framework to comply with EU data protection requirements when transferring personal data from the European Union to the United States published by the US Department of Commerce.

We deploy Google Analytics on our website by using the IP-anonymizing. By this your IP-address is anonymized by Google in the European Union or other member states of the European Economic Area Treaty by shortening the IP address.

As requested by the operator of this website, Google will then use this information to evaluate how users use the website, create reports about website activities and provide other services for the website operator related to the use of the website and internet use. These reports help us to analyze the use of our website and to improve it on a regular basis. The statistics gathered allow us to improve our offering and design it in a way that is more attractive to you. Your IP address will not be combined with any other data collected by Google.

We chose a max. retention period for data connected to cookies, user IDs or advertising ID of 14 months.

3.4. Pardot

a) Explanation and purpose:

This website uses Pardot, an analyzing tool of Salesforce.com, Inc., The Landmark at One Market, Suite 300, San Francisco, CA 9410, („Pardot"). Pardot uses cookies that are saved on your computer and enable us to analyze how you use our website by using field aliases. The cookies set by Pardot are (1) a so-called "Visitor Cookie" that generates an internal ID by which the browser of the visitor can be detected, (2) an "opt-in-cookie" that secures that no information is gathered about a user who has rejected tracking and (3) if applicable a "session cookie" if a customer logs in as user in the Pardot App. The cookies only contain an internal ID and no data that allow to directly refer to a certain person. The information collected by Pardot about the use of our website contain e.g. browser type/version, anonymized IP-address of your end device, time of the request, length of your visit on specific sites, downloaded data, etc. You can find further information about the cookies used by Pardot here.

We also use Pardot in the context of our e-mail-service. E-mails that are sent by using Pardot use tracking technologies. We employ this data to find out which content you're interested in by tracking whether you open our e-mails and which contained links you follow. The information is submitted to a Pardot server if applicable in the United States, where it is saved. Pardot has submitted to the privacy shield framework to comply with EU data protection requirements when transferring personal data from the European Union to the United States published by the US Department of Commerce. Pardot uses the gathered information on our behalf on the basis of a concluded agreement to statistically evaluate the utilization of our website in an aggregated way, create reports about website activities and the behavior of users on our website and provide other analysing services for us related to the use of the website, e.g. about the effect of online-marketing-campaigns. These reports help us to analyse the use of our website and to improve it on a regular basis. The statistics gathered help us to improve our website and its content and design it in a way that is more attractive to you.

We don't use the information collected by Pardot by using field aliases for the identification of specific persons and don't combine it with other personal characteristics.

3.5. Microsoft Bing Ads

a) Explanation and purpose:

This website uses the conversion tracking tool of Microsoft Corporation, One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052-6399, USA („Bing Ads“). Bing Ads sets a cookie on your computer if you have reached our website via a Microsoft Bing Ad. Microsoft and we are able to discover by these cookies if somebody was referred to our website via such add and has reached a certain destination (conversion site) previously determined. We only receive the total number of users that have clicked on a Bing Ad and are referred to the conversion site. Personal data for the identification of users are not disclosed. The procedure helps us to evaluate the success of Bing Adds.

4. Contact Form

Explanation and purpose:

In case of any questions or request you are welcome to contact us via our online contact form or by e-mail. In this case we process the personal data transmitted by you (name, company, e-mail, country) to answer your question resp. handle your request. If you use the online contact form you are required to fill in your name and a valid e-mail-address to inform us who has sent the request.

5. Distribution of invitations to trade fairs

a) Explanation and purpose:

If you have a current contractual relationship with us we use contact data (name, e-mail address, postal address) gathered in connection with this contractual relationship for sending out invitations to trade fairs in which BEUMER Group is taking part. The dispatch of these invitations is executed by the e-mail service provider Inxmail GmbH, Wentzingerstr. 17, D-79106 Freiburg.

b) Legal basis:

Basis for the processing is Art. 6 Subsection 1 littoral f GDPR. The legitimate interest for the processing is the communication of trade fairs in which we take part in order to cultivate customer relations and for the acquisition of future business.

a) You have the right to ask for a confirmation if we process personal data concerning your person. If this is the case you have the right to request information about these personal data according to applicable law (Art. 15 GDPR) This does not apply, if

If Art 20 subsection 1 GDPR applies a right of data portability exists.
